How to avoid an error in the bottom of the screw and the size of the connection

Release time:2026-09-22

quick answer

For accessories distributors, describe the method of checking the number of larvae, the number of molars, the length of tail handles, the length of the trough and the thread, analyse the risk that an error in size would lead to the uninstallability of the whole screw and give recommendations for the validation of drawings, photographs, triple confirmation of quantitative data and the pass rate of initial assembly.

Many mechanical interfaces confirm that the problem with the project is not the lack of equipment capacity, but rather the omission of key teeth, molds, tail handle length, key slots and screws during the selection phase. The ability of the distributor to complete the technical confirmation prior to the offer would significantly reduce the risk of re-engineering and complaints.

Each size of the screw structure serves solid transport, melting, refining, measuring and injection sealing. The diameter, long-range ratio, three-part ratio, depth, compression ratio and front-end components need to be considered as a system; local parameters appear to be stronger and do not represent the raw materials and cycles of the package that are more suitable for customers. It is recommended that customer information be broken down into five groups: products and moulds, raw materials, platforms, process objectives and existing problems. Product end logs of single weight, flowway, number of caves, wall thickness and appearance levels; ratio of feedstock end recorder number, melting finger, filling, flame retardation and retrofitting; terminal logs of tonnage, voltage, screw diameter, maximum travel, injection pressure and plasticization. All data are sourced and are marked, drawn, physical, measured or estimated by clients.

Site information should preferably include both photographs, short videos and data sheets. Photos are used to identify machine interfaces, screw tails and front-end components, video can be observed to measure, buffer and abnormal sound, and data tables are used to calculate the rate of application, the need for plasticization per hour and the length of stay. If only partial information can be obtained, a list should be provided for confirmation, rather than a tentative condition being a definitive conclusion. The focus of discussion in this paper is on the number of carvings, the number of molds, the length of tail handles, the key slots and the screws, which must correspond to the customer ' s current mass production conditions and not be limited to the maximum values in machine samples.

The configuration proposal should be presented to triple confirmation of drawings, photographs, quantitative data, rather than using vague descriptions such as “enhanced” or “high performance”. The spiral drawings need to reflect the effective length, three-part scale, depth, compression ratio, tail connection and anti-reverse components; the material programme needs to distinguish the base, surface hardening, alloy layer or coating, and to indicate the pattern of failure for which they are intended.

The cost of the misconfiguration is not only the screw itself, but also the cut-off, the waste of raw materials, the testing of molds, the delay in delivery and the credibility of customers. An error of one size would result in the entire screw being unable to set up a precautionary measure, which would be more economical than repeated transfers after a problem; the vendor could then move from a mere offerer to a partner capable of carrying the technical screening.

It is recommended that the primary pass factor be the first package and that the temperature, screw velocity, back pressure, measurement position, buffer position, injection peak pressure and continuous sample weight be recorded in all areas of the drum simultaneously. At least three reasonable process points, low, medium and high, are covered to confirm that the programme is not effective under a single parameter. Where the information is temporarily incomplete, the pre-selection scope and the list to be confirmed may be provided, but it should not be considered a final commitment. Frozen configurations after the customer completes the key teeth, simulators, tail handle lengths, keyboards and threads can reduce erroneous orders and facilitate the use of the same version of data after production, testing, installation and sale.
