Note how plastic manufacturers have established long-term technical cooperation with screw suppliers

For manufacturers and distributors of retrofit machines, describe the method of checking machine-type standardization, application of databases, joint test models and after-sale closed loops, analyse the risk of one-time procurement experience with difficult sediment configurations, and provide validation recommendations for the establishment of a standard mixer and problem-reverse mechanism, as well as for the selection of a hit rate, development cycle and customer satisfaction.

The problem with many long-term technical cooperation projects is not the lack of equipment capacity, but rather the omission of machine-type standardization, application databases, joint testing and after-sales closure at the selection stage. A technical confirmation by the manufacturer and distributor of the retrofit machine would significantly reduce the risk of subsequent re-engineering and complaints.
The effectiveness of the programme needs to be verified with the same materials, moulds and test methods. In addition to size and material reports, time measurement, buffer position, pressure curve, temperature, product weight, appearance and periodicity should also be recorded, with clear acceptance windows. Data-based delivery reduces disputes and facilitates subsequent replication. Technical communication distinguishes between three types of objectives that must be met, desired improvement and acceptable. It is necessary to meet the hard boundary of the item for the determination of equipment and screws, and it is hoped that the improvement item will be used for the comparison of standards and specialized programmes, while the acceptable item will help to control costs and deadlines. This would avoid stacking all requirements on a screw and would make it easier for clients to understand the real value of each configuration.
Material analysis cannot remain under PPP, ABS or PA names. The specific plate number, the percentage of the product or mineral filling, the flame-retarding system, the water-bearing requirements, the permitted stay time and the recommended processing temperature should be checked. Differences in the sensitivity of viscosity, wear, corrosiveness and shearing may be apparent in the broad categories of the same material, which change the compression ratio, the three-part ratio, alloy and surface treatment. The focus of discussion in this paper is on machine-type standardization, application databases, joint trials and after-sale loops, which must correspond to the customer ' s current production conditions and not be limited to the maximum values in machine samples.
In the context of this item, it is proposed to adopt the idea of “establishing a standard mixer and a problem-reverse mechanism”. First, to determine whether the available data support the choice, then to calculate the volume of reductive, pressure and plasticization, and finally to discuss the geometry, front-end components and material handling of the screws. If the standard option is able to cover the window, priority should be given to the standard configuration; if the risk of one-time procurement being difficult to settle the configuration experience remains, a dedicated structure is proposed and the increased costs, delivery dates and expected benefits are indicated.
If the above-mentioned steps are ignored, the most common consequence is the difficulty of settling the configuration experience in one-time procurement. The problems are often manifested in the trial phase of measuring time instability, insufficient stress residuals, buffer drift, unmelted, black spots, colour differentials or increased wear and tear. Continued increase in temperature, back pressure and turn speed at this time may temporarily improve the appearance, but may increase the shearing heat, material degradation and equipment load.
Ultimately, the programme should be judged by the choice of a hit rate, the development cycle and client satisfaction. If the result fails to meet the standard, each adjustment and result shall be recorded in five directions, by raw material, equipment, molds, process and screw, so as to avoid the loss of causal judgement by modifying multiple parameters at the same time. Therefore, long-term technical cooperation should not follow the simple logic of “symmetrically-sized screws”. Only by accounting for products, feedstocks, tonnages, voltage, screw diameter and target cycles will the standard screws have a clear scope of application and the dedicated screws have a reasonable design basis and return on investment.
