Why is the new screw starting first?

Following the sale of the equipment, it describes the method of checking thermal expansion, residual oil, installation and material switching, analyses the risk of rapid warming of high-speed rotations that may cause bites or contamination, and provides recommendations for the validation of temperature equilibrium, low-speed inspection, the gradual loading of fresh materials and the current, acoustic and cleanliness of the materials.

The first-time start-up procedure appears to be a conventional equipment selection and is actually prone to deviations due to thermal expansion, residual oil, installation and material switching not being evaluated at the same time. For equipment to be sold, the correct approach would be to establish a baseline of conditions before discussing specific configurations.
The effectiveness of the programme needs to be verified with the same materials, moulds and test methods. In addition to size and material reports, time measurement, buffer position, pressure curve, temperature, product weight, appearance and periodicity should also be recorded, with clear acceptance windows. Data-based delivery reduces disputes and facilitates subsequent replication. Material analysis cannot remain under PPP, ABS or PA names. The specific plate number, the percentage of the product or mineral filling, the flame-retarding system, the water-bearing requirements, the permitted stay time and the recommended processing temperature should be checked. Differences in the sensitivity of viscosity, wear, corrosiveness and shearing may be apparent in the broad categories of the same material, which change the compression ratio, the three-part ratio, alloy and surface treatment.
Site information should preferably include both photographs, short videos and data sheets. Photos are used to identify machine interfaces, screw tails and front-end components, video can be observed to measure, buffer and abnormal sound, and data tables are used to calculate the rate of application, the need for plasticization per hour and the length of stay. If only partial information can be obtained, a list should be provided for confirmation, rather than a tentative condition being a definitive conclusion. The focus of discussion in this paper is on thermal expansion, residual oil, installation and material switching, which must correspond to the customer ' s current production conditions and cannot be based solely on the maximum value in the machine sample.
From the point of view of sales management, temperature-balanced, low-speed inspections, and phase-in of materials should constitute a standard process that can be repeated. Each project saves original needs, computations, final drawings, test modelling data and client feedback, and can call on experience in the event of a similar machine or material, but there is still a need to reconcile key differences and not to copy the historical configuration directly.
If the above-mentioned steps are ignored, the most common consequence is that rapid warming and high-speed rotation may cause bites or pollution. The problems are often manifested in the trial phase of measuring time instability, insufficient stress residuals, buffer drift, unmelted, black spots, colour differentials or increased wear and tear. Continued increase in temperature, back pressure and turn speed at this time may temporarily improve the appearance, but may increase the shearing heat, material degradation and equipment load.
Ultimately, the objectives should be judged through a programme of airborne currents, acoustics and cleanliness. If the result fails to meet the standard, each adjustment and result shall be recorded in five directions, by raw material, equipment, molds, process and screw, so as to avoid the loss of causal judgement by modifying multiple parameters at the same time. The sales proposal should answer three questions at the same time: why this selection was made, which conditions had changed and which were re-selected, and how the customer validated the results. Clearing these three issues would make it possible for the first-time start-up process to move from a spare parts trade to a traceability technology project.
